Thanksgiving planning is in full swing! Notes are being made, grocery lists compiled, and the stress is building. We all know there’s no such thing as a stress-free holiday. But all of this got me thinking, if I had a group of fairies or elves or something magical that could cook, this is the sort of Thanksgiving I would like. Nothing terribly fancy, just a lot of good food and good company and a little decor to keep things festive. In other words, my dream Thanksgiving. (Links follow at the end.)

Kelly, you and I are totally on the same wavelength right now. I’m trying to plan out the menu and figure out one more vegetarian side dish – any suggestions?

cool post. I originally thought it was going to be more about who you would want at your thanksgiving and was interested in hearing your dream guest list (living and/or dead and/or fictional).

someone else asked me this today as well. it was tough, but i narrowed it down to my paternal grandfather, Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and my friend Karey Mackin.
