Mod Pumpkins.
I’m completely off the ball this year when it comes to pumpkins. I had the best intentions of getting mine a few weekends ago, but then got sick and not thinking about pumpkins so much. I’m hoping today’s the day. And since carving jack o’ lanterns can be time consuming I’ve decided to go this route, that of the Mod Pumpkin. Some poster paint (or tempera), masking or painters tape, and they’ll be good to go! {via Happy Mundane}

Skeleton Apron.

First thought, I’ve been watching way too much Dexter because I automatically think of him when I see a long apron. Second thought, this skeleton apron would come in handy for messy me when I make caramel apples tomorrow night. Third thought, I’m short – I wonder whether or not all the bones would line up correctly?

Halloween Owl.
When it comes to holiday decor I solidly reside in the vintage camp. Especially when it comes to Halloween. I’m not hardcore about whether it’s actual vintage or a recreation, but there you have it. This little Halloween Owl is screen-printed on heavy chipboard and sitting high atop of my radar at the moment.

Encyclopedia Skull + Bone Canvases.
It physically pains me to admit to this, but sometimes Pottery Barn just gets me. They also never fail to surprise with unique (mass produced) pieces like these unstretched encyclopedia skull and bones canvases. Of course they consider them Halloween decor and I consider them Every Day of the Year decor, which is how I keep my wits about me.

I Want Candy.
I want candy, and lots of it. I was lucky enough to grow up in a complex of town houses, which meant mucho sweets come October 31st. Everything was close in proximity and it wasn’t unheard of to have 500+ kids stop by your house come Halloween night. So for me, well, it was all about quantity. It also wasn’t unheard of for there to be lingering Halloween candy come Easter. What kind of trick or treater were you as a kid?

Simply Gourds.
Sometime in the past 24 hours I’ve turned into a person who likes decorative gourds. Particularly tall white ones.
