Cold Picnic Wall Hangings

I’m not really a textured art kinda gal. The dust, the cat hair, the grossness. However, the moment I laid eyes on these wall hangings from Cold Picnic my heart opened up juuust wide enough to let them squeeze inside.

WorldWide Rugs

David Hanauer creates beautifully patterned rugs with the use of overhead landscape shots from Google Earth. I love how they take on such an abstract look and then aha! you traps what you’re looking upon. (via TeenAngster)

Oh, Honey Badger

I don’t know what it is about the not-so-lovable honey badger, but I can’t seem to get enough. At least this plushie version from Royal Mint lacks the teeth and venomous snake snack that the real thing is so fond of.

Caitlin Hinshelnood

Hand-dyed cotton animal purses from Caitlin Hinshelnood showcase beautiful sketches of animals. And it’s sort of a two for one, because each purse is dyed a different color with a different set of animals on either side. I like these lots. (via Creature Comforts)

Hobo Lantern + Bag

Check out some unexpected multifunctional design in Molo Design’s Hobo Lantern + Bag. The felted wool bag is sturdy, durable, and works well for day-to-day use. Empty the bag, turn on the LED light source, and you have a portable luminary that beautifully highlights the felt’s natural weave.
