This is so true! The same kind of thing happens (in a littler way) when listening to talk radio and drawing at the same time – looking back at the drawing, you remember what was being said on the radio.
I completely agree. Books have a way of preserving your memories in their pages. Sometimes, when I’m homesick for somewhere else, I need only to reread a book I first read there and memories come flooding back. They’re nostalgic. I believe some music has the same effect.
I believe that wholeheartedly. And books that I read on an airplane and an even more mystical quality – they retain the aura of flight
