I’m mildly obsessed with this boxed collection of the entire set of the International Code of Signals, all depicted as wooden flags. A seriously good gift for the sailor at heart.
Love them. I built a frame and stretched a vintage WWII era nautical letter J flag on it for our living room. I wanted a D for my last name but liked the look of the J which is at least my husband’s first initial. I also like that the J flag can be used to signal “I am on fire and have dangerous cargo on board: keep well clear of me” which is how I feel sometimes Look out world!
I’ve never set foot on a sailboat, but I still want this reeeaal bad.
