Win It: Ariat Boots
Two ironic things about this giveaway starting today:
1. I’ve lived in Oklahoma off and on since 1998, yet never owned a pair of cowboy boots until a few months ago.
2. This is the first day I’ve not lived in Oklahoma in five years. (I’m in New York.)
Those two things being revealed, I’m extremely excited to partner with a bit of an Oklahoma institution, Langston’s! The Rodeo Rosita is my favorite Ariat boot, by far. I am a September baby, and all things vivid, vibrant and fiery like fall strike my fancy. The roses on this boot are breathtaking.
My deceased grandmother’s name was Rose, and she and my grandfather’s love story not only inspired me through heartbreaks, but now I’m living my own just like theirs–he’s even a pilot like Grandpa was. I wish I owned the Rodeo Rosita boots because of all the rare, joyful things they call to mind.

When I moved to Georgia when I was ten I rebelled against the southern culture and decided I would try to stay true to my Jersey roots. Now that I’m in my second year at Johns Hopkins, I’m starting to cling to my southern roots.

As an Born and Bred Oklahoman myself I am deeply saddened to say I too do not own a pair of cowboy boots. The Ariat Women’s Heritage Western R Toe Cowboy Boots – Distressed Brown would be the perfect boots to not only wear to my May 5, 2012 wedding but also as a reminder of my roots when my soon to be hubby and I move to his first duty station with the army.

I have a pair of two-tone black and brown ariat’s that I am pretty sure they don’t even make anymore that I’ve worn in 17 countries on various rescue missions in lots of first response situations and get asked ALL the time about them. they are more comfortable than any pair of shoes I have ever owned… the thought of them dying has been breaking my heart for the last year, but to win a new pair might be heartening. I just love this brand and cannot recommend a brand of shoe more highly.

I love the women’s legend – the detailed stitching just makes the boots more classic. We just moved to TX and I feel like I could use a pair of boots to fit in with the native crowd here, but I can’t stomach the price. A native Texan, I’ve never had my own pair of boots. My dad has a pair he’s worn for longer than I’ve been alive, over 30 years. When they get worn down he just gets them re-soled. I love the Ariat Western Dress Boot Bodie. I absolutely love my- Heritage Western R Toe Boots – Distressed Brown… but they are even better now that they are broken in and muddied up. Although I have been know to clean them up and pair them with a cute sun dress, super cute!

I adore the Ariat Women’s Coloma 8″ Harness Boots in Diesel Chocolate! I love these because they’re unique and I’ve heard they’re super comfortable… also, being from the southwest, boots are a staple in everyone’s wardrobes, and I have yet to own a pair! They seem so adaptable to different occasions and easy to style!
