Precious

I can’t help but say the name of this mirror/jewelry box in a Golom-esque hiss, but Precious is much better than that. The side drawers are perfect for rings, bracelets, and baubles while the pull out hooks on the opposite are made for hanging necklaces. EVerything slides right back into place for a sleek look.

CMYK

I agree with Martin, these CMYK tees from W+K are quite possibly one of the easiest and design nerdiest Halloween options ever. I’d happily sport the black K tee no matter the day of the year.

Branding 10,000 Lakes

I’m all kinds of in love with Nicole Meyer’s Branding 10,000 Lakes project for two reason.

1. I had the honor to be a Minnesotan for about a year and a half in the early aughts and loved it.

2. I adore design projects that tackle the same thing over and over again in various forms.

One Minnesota lake gets a logo every day, it’s simple. And if Meyer keeps it up she’ll have them all tackled in a mere 27 years.

Hex Weight

Aren’t these the best paperweights? I feel like just having one or two on my desk would make me feel more organized.

Andy Gilmore

Andy Gilmore’s kaleidoscopic art sucks me in with a glance, and where I can see some people finding it too intense I find it rather relaxing.

Hitting the Concrete Catwalk

If you follow me on Twitter chances are you’ve seen me mention/freak out about attending New York Fashion Week next month. Now I love fashion as much as the next girl, but it takes a little something extra to be Bryant Park-ready. After one of my (only semi) kidding tweets about having someone style me, my friend Jessie of The Concrete Catwalk stepped up to the plate with her style & pepper services.

Jessie asked me a few questions, sussed out some preferences, checked if there were any pieces in my wardrobe I wanted to work around, and off she went to style me! Yesterday I received an amazing personalized Polyvore spread full of chic separates that will be really easy to mix and match. This outfit has to be my favorite – those pants! I love how Jessie told me what she sees me wearing each outfit to, it helped me picture the pieces in real life.

If you’d like Jessie to help you with some fashion woes or just want to spice up your wardrobe for fall you should check out her styling services!
