I was gonna say. I live in the capital of freaking California and you’d think the place would be full of trusty bureaucratic gadgets like the fax; not so. Last time I asked someone to fax me there was dead air at the other end of the line for like 30 seconds while the 20-ish intern tried to suss out a potential euphemism.
