I think my favorite reading moments are not only when I read something that I thought was "special" to me, but when the author describes a thought, feeling or way of looking at things that I have in common with that author that I thought was "special" to me but had never been able to put into words myself.

Yes, yes, yes. I think either you totally get this right away or you never will. I have read things and thought "I could have written that line" because it was an unspoken truth for me, often I read something so beautifully crafted I think "I WISH I could have written this". Like the quote very much.
