I've been a fan of the art and illustration of Lisa Romero for quite some time and I love her tendency to gravitate towards the girlish things in life. You can check out her portfolio at her site, paper bullet, and flickr for yourself because, dang, this lady has got some serious talent! And of course don't forget her shop... you'd be missing out on awesomeness.
This week one of you have the opportunity to win an original piece of Lisa's work! That's right, an original, not a print! It's ink and acrylic on watercolor paper and measures 5.25 X 6.25.

my favorite shoes are my sneakers. they are slighty mismatched,and colorfully checkered. the right one has a big gash on the inside. and every other day (or more) they get soaked in puddles or streams.

My favorite pair of shoes are my tall dark brown boots from my year abroad living in Beglium. I love how I can pair them with my jeans or just a cute dress. I love all the style tips I picked up from them and wearing the boots make me think of so many of my experiences there.

I am a "chucks" girl true and true! The pair I am referring to are black and I have owned them since 8th grade! They have attended so many festivals, museums, and concerts I cannot even tell you!
I will continue to glue/tape/patchwork them together to get as much use out of them as possible!

i hate to admit this on the internet but my favorite pair of shoes are a beaten up pair of clarks. i love my granola shoes! i traveled all of italy in these oatmeal brown slip-ons and i can't imagine traveling without the them. heck, i can't imagine weekend errands without these silly shoes.

My favorite pair are my blue vans. goes with all my clothes and I love biking in them plus they are classic.
My favourite shoes are my TOMS shoes.
They're comfortable and durable. They go with pretty much everything I wear and when I buy a pair they give a pair to a child without shoes, so everyone wins! :)

My favorite shoes have to be either my white converse tennis shoes or my tall bright pink pumps. One are so comfortable and go with everything and the other make me feel so feminine and are just so much fun to wear!

EVER: flat, slightly slouchy denim boots, bought in Germany, 1988 - the year before The Wall came tumbling down. Both are long gone now.

My caramel colored pointy flats. They are amazing, I wear them everywhere in the summer, great for walking around the city. They go with everything I own. I paid only 20 bucks for them, and after 2 years of wear and tear, they are finally starting to fall apart,which makes me sad :-(

My favorite pair of shoes are a pink and silver pair of beautiful stilletos that I saw a woman wearing while out one night with my girlfriends. I told her how beautiful they were and she looked at me, told me they killed her feet, took them off and gave them to me! I love them!
