DIY Book Wreath.

As difficult as it would be for me to tear up a book, I think I could somehow find a way to manage for the sake of making one of these to die for book wreaths. Yes, yes I could. (Sorry, librarians of the world, but know that it's all in the name of beautiful things and saving a buck!) {via @papercrave}

This is fantastic! I could easily find something worth tearing up at the Goodwill to construct a beautiful wreath like this.

That's actually really adorable! I think it would be nice to make one out of old maps since they get outdated anyways. Would look just adorable in a study, or just next to a bookshelf. You could make one out of phone books and put it near the phone (who has one of those anymore?)

I have this bookmarked and have been dying to try it out myself. It would be hard for me to tear up a book too but I think that buying one of those trashy novels like she did would make it ALOT easier!

Lovely wreath! I found your blog via Apartment Therapy where they had featured my wreaths along with Lindsay's lovely wreath and tutorial.
I'll definitely have to be back for regular visits.
Great blog!

I made two of these for xmas. One on a 10 inch wreath and rolled pages side to side which resulted in a HUGE but absolutely GORGEOUS wreath for a friend who has big rooms and high ceilings. I made a smaller one for myself and rolled pages top to bottom so it wasn't nearly as big. They were so fun to make and looked fabulous when they were finished!! Good luck!
