When I chose this as Oatmeal Week I had no idea how perfect the timing would be. We’re getting freezing rain and sleet today and tomorrow and there’s nothing quite so comforting as some oatmeal goodness during nasty times like these!
This recipe for Bruleed Oatmeal with Baked Glazed Apples is screaming my name. A bit decadent with it’s hidden layer of brown sugar, but I’m betting worth every calorie!

You covered Oatmeal and I covered grilled cheese/soup. If one of us covers dinner we’ll be good

Just two weeks ago I’ve started making steel cut oats every morning. I’m so glad you’re featuring it because I’m getting a little tired or my cinnamon, bananas, and honey combo.

If you mash bananas and add them in, you’ll have the sweet without the brown sugar. Yum yum yum.
