I never fancied myself a table mirror sort of girl. (Actually I've never "fancied" myself anything before this post.) But then I met the FIGGJO mirror at IKEA and thought it just might be so. Measuring in at 9 7/8 X 18 1/8" this would fit perfectly atop my bedroom dresser.Labels: home sweet home, wish list

As well as my favorite, Waitress. I'm probably going to need to own this one at some point. I loved it. It's even better if you watch it while eating homemade blueberry pancakes. Or so I hear...Labels: see it, shameless plug

Remember yesterday (and the day before) how I was gushing about spring finally being here to stay? Yeah, well it lied to me. Today is overcast with a high in the 50s. The kicker is that this weather is supposed to stick around all weekend before raining Sunday. So for this, French Onion Soup is in order. Nothing like some comfort food to beat the blues!Labels: the daily eat
this water is simple: a blend of pure fruit juices, crushed fruit and pure spring water. I love the fun, whimsical feeling of the label for something so honestly simple. Has anyone seen this beverage in stores outside of the UK?Labels: eat it up, nice package

That's right folks, Privacy Urinals. Two words I never thought I'd actually type together on my blog. But when looking at design you need to be unbiased, so there you have it! Thanks to designer Mark Rock the boys (no pun intended) can enjoy a little more coverage and great design at the same time.Labels: grand design

These Raspberry Upside Down Cakes would be perfect for the beautiful spring day it's turning out to be here. Or any other day for that matter...Labels: the daily eat
I'm in love with yet another calendar. This time it's the Calendone wall calendar and not one that sits prettily upon your desk. And it's perpetual, which is a HUGE bonus!Labels: paper goods, wish list
The Plantorb is fantastic! The hanging ceramic orb is 8" in diameter with a 28” long woven sisal cord. As much as I would love to plant something in this, I think I would love even more to hang one inside my front door to throw my keys and sunglasses into when I get home.Labels: grand design, grow it

Can't you just imagine seeing this Ziptie Ring on someone's hand and realizing what it actually was? Lovely.Labels: wear it
My morning toast and coffee isn't doing me any justice today - I'm about to start eating tea bags. (Which happens to be the only "food" in my office at the moment.) This Spiced Up Grilled Cheese sandwich practically has me foaming at the mouth. Oh wait, that's just drool...Labels: the daily eat

Tres leches is one of my very favorite desserts - I still remember the very first time I had at the Cadillac Bar in Dallas. I could have eaten plate upon plate overflowing with that milk-soaked cakey goodness. This coconut version offers up a spin on the original by using coconut milk as one of the three different milks in the leche mixture. Yum.Labels: the daily eat

The weather has been spot-on beautiful for the past few days, so of course it's supposed to rain both Saturday and Sunday since I won't be cooped up in an office. Go figure!Labels: memo
Meet CB2s modern version of the Luxembourg gardens chair - the Buena Park Bench. Park yourself closer to the ground, slouched in laziness with the sun shining on your face. Rust-proof with really pretty ivory cushions in moisture and mildew-resistant spun polyester. Buena park chair also available to match.Labels: grand design, home sweet home
The Signature Now & Then Cake Stand is kind of a little guy - only 9" across. The red hue and shiny glaze finish sold me anyways. Makes me want to bake snowball cupcakes and stack them up on it!Labels: kitchen duty

Hot Cross Buns mean Easter at the grocery store. I'm ashamed to admit that A.) I've never attempted to make them and B.) I chose this particular version of the recipe because the title of the post was "Fruity, Spicy, Sticky."Labels: the daily eat
