Happy {Halloween} Weekend.

I’ll never turn down a weekend but I haven’t been this happy to see one show up in quite some time. Work has been a bit quite hellish this past week and I’m ready to relax and let loose! Not to mention Halloween being my favorite holiday and getting to play dress-up.

This Weekend:
• Halloween party at K’s
• handing out candy to trick or treaters
• watch the OU/Nebraska game
• laundry!!!
• groceries
• work on Christmas gift projects

Happy Halloween!

Mad Props: October.

October was an amazing month for posts! I love how into Halloween people were and the Mad Props were really tough to narrow down this time around. Enjoy my October favorites!

Happy Halloween.

Happy Halloween!

It’s supposed to be a beautiful day here in OKC today – perfect trick or treating weather. And not too shabby for the costume party I’m attending tonight either. What will I be, you ask? Well, let me tell you. Two years ago I was Alice in Wonderland and this year I’ll be recycling the ensemble with the key addition of chains – tada – Alice in Chains!

Attack.

This is me at work today. (Except more brunette, bustier and wearing jeans.) Those birds are my clients and the projects that are all of a sudden flocking back after weeks out. All at once. Can you see how awesome it is?

On the Rocks: Pumpkin + Gingerbread Cocktail.

You might want to skip dessert the day you decide to indulge in this Pumpkin + Gingerbread cocktail. It’s like an adult dessert in a glass!

Ingredients:
– 2 oz Dark Rum
– 1 tbsp gingerbread essence
– 1 oz Pumpkin Molasses
– 1/2 oz chilled coffee
– Splash of Kahlua

Garnish: Ginger bread cookie

Shake all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a ginger bread cookie.
